RFID project with DHL Exel Supply Chain
Profile
Prior to accepting the role of a PhD researcher, I studied in the School of Engineering at Aston University where I graduated with First class Honours in Logistics (BSc) and awarded a Final Year Prize by the Department of Engineering Systems Management and also a certificate from the Chartered Institute of Logistics and Transport (CILT) for the highest achievement.
During my degree, I took part in an industrial placement with Renault UK based in the Supply Planning department. One of my roles was to plan, develop and manage information databases, which aimed to assist various parties within Renault including marketing product managers, distribution consultants, dealers, factory employees, and CAT employees. The databases facilitated the communication of relevant information on a daily basis in order to improve business processes and aide in a smoother flow of parts and vehicles by minimising disruptions and losses.
